For more than 35 years Jim has helped his clients manage their property disputes in civil trials and appeals. He currently serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General in Illinois in condemnation cases for the State of Illinois Department of Transportation. He was a litigation partner for 11 years with the government and land use practice group of Holland & Knight LLP in its Chicago and San Francisco offices. Before then Jim served for five years as Civil Trial Division Chief of the Office of the Lake County, Illinois State's Attorney. He began his career in Chicago with construction and insurance law firms. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, California and Washington.
